BIOGRAPHY

David received a BA degree in geology from Whittier College in 1971 and worked as an Engineering Geologist evaluating potential sites for nuclear power installations. After receiving MS degree in geology from San Diego State University in 1977, he worked on various projects in the petroleum industry in exploration and production throughout California and the mid-continent. Starting in 1986, he began doing consulting work in hydrocarbon reservoir geology, soil remediation, ground water studies, and hazardous wastewater disposal. He returned to petroleum geology in 1997, where he is currently a geologist with Aera.
